My name is Todd Winther, I am 26 years old, and live on the Sunshine Coast. I live my life more or less as if I’m not disabled. It is easier said than done given the fact that I am confined to an electric wheelchair and can’t manage my own personal care. Life is challenging because of this, but not difficult. Frankly, I can’t even begin to imagine what difficulty is, because my life is not difficult.
My name is Shona, I am 30 years old and 5 years ago I had a car accident and am now a bilateral amputee. My left leg is above knee high and my right leg is below knee. I am now in a wheelchair.
We all possess the most powerful and the most complex tool known to man or should I say, “our fellow personages”. Nothing in the known universe even comes close! It can never be duplicated or artificially created, our most advanced computers can not match its capabilities and we all have one! What is it? A Brain! Why is it that we only use a poopteenth of its capacity? With the rest lying idle or maybe just cluttered, with old news. Like a filing cabinet or hard drive chock-a-block with outdated information to the extent that it's impossible to cram any more in.
I became increasingly disturbed by the growing pile of returned photographs that had completed their trips to club, state, national, and international exhibitions. Apart from a few that I had on my wall they ended up in boxes in a storeroom. I began to feel increasingly disturbed about spending money to buy a decent camera and time to learn how to use it to produce things that are then packed in boxes in my storeroom to vegetate.
It is well known that a wild moment in the history of art occurred in 1905 when a group of adventurous artists held an exhibition in Paris. Their exhibition is remembered because it marks a significant break with the established traditions of art.
Hi I am a young girl living in Australia in the suburbs of sydney. I have 1 brother and 1 sister who are my best friends aswell. I am the youngest and most pampered. . I moved to Sydney when I was 12.My life in high school was unforgettable, with lots of great friends and the best family I enjoyed my teen years with great joy, going out was common and my life was all about fun, a healthy and happy life, but I guess I took a lot for granted and didn’t value the real things.
